Alcom Printing Group, Inc. has acquired Christmas City Printing Co., Inc. of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The acquisition is the third in as many years. Christmas City has joined the combined excellence of their business, offering customers an integrated spectrum of printing solutions including technologically advanced digital web, sheetfed, large format, direct mail, branding and distribution opportunities. Together, the companies combine a wealth of knowledge, experience, innovation and responsiveness to customer needs.
Alcom, a recognized industry leader with over 75 years of excellent service quality, is a leading provider of integrated solutions for print, direct mail, marketing and business development, providing solutions that include commercial sheet and web lithography, digital printing, wide format, print-on-demand, fulfillment Solutions, promotional product offerings, and robust workflow technologies that facilitate online ordering, manage inventory, and reduce print obsolescence. “Merging our culture with Alcom is the perfect combination for long-term success in an ever-changing industry,” said Christopher Sicinski, vice president of the CCP. “Alcom’s commitment to investing in future technologies and its loyal employees will add additional resources and value to our loyal customer base,” added Paul Sicinski, President of CCP.
“The partnership provides current CCP customers with enhanced services that were previously unavailable to them, and enables them to meet the tightest deadlines, reduce costs while delivering uncompromising quality,” said Doug Yeager, COO of Alcom.
“The attraction of Christmas City due to its location in the Lehigh Valley and its half-size printing capabilities gives Alcom’s full-size customer base the flexibility and cost structure required for smaller runs. CCP will now have access to a much wider range of service and throughput to meet the larger needs of its customer base. This merger has been in the works for several years and required an incredible amount of patience and focus to be such a success. It is really an exciting time for our company and our customers. “Explains Don Eichman, President and CEO of Alcom.
Eichman also noted that the companies will continue to operate under their individual names and that CCP will become a division of Alcom Printing Group, Inc. CCP will maintain its manufacturing facility in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania for the foreseeable future.
