The Association for PRINT Technologies (APTech) announced that registration is now open for the Wide-Format Business Master Class. The six-week course is the first in APTech’s new Master Class series for 2021 and offers a complete blueprint for companies looking to build a large sales hub for large format printing. The first session begins on March 16, 2021 from 1.30 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. (CET).

The “Wide-Format Business Master Class” is an in-depth course with 12-15 hours of lessons over six weeks and includes live lessons with the well-known large-format business expert Debbie Nicholson, President of Think-to-Ink! In addition, interviews with owners of new and successful large-format business units as well as experts in equipment and materials.

The six-week master class includes everything attendees should know to create a high performing large format profit center:

Week 1 – What’s the Value of Large Format Printing?
Week 2 – How to Sell Large Format Printing Effectively
Week 3 – Synergy with sales and production
Week 4 – Migrate employees from offset salespeople to large format professionals!
Week 5 – What You Should Know About Large Format Vertical Markets
Week 6 – Product Diversification Wins Major Projects!

Each session is interactive and offers plenty of opportunities for live discussion and answers to questions. This course is aimed at commercial printers, wide format printers, and marketing service providers who may or may not have wide format equipment but are ready to build a sales hub around this highly profitable product segment. Participants complete this course with an actionable plan for each division of the company – leadership, sales, and operations.

Thayer Long, President of APTech, said of the new course, “APTech is excited to offer this timely, comprehensive range of training designed to help print businesses grow sales and profits.” He continued, “We encourage you to invite your executive, sales, customer service, and operations teams to take this important course for any company looking to maximize their large format printing business.”

Program manager Debbie Nicholson Says, “It can be difficult to fully understand the large format printing business. On the technical side, there is a lot to know as there are so many different ink sets, substrates, and hardware options. Understanding the best prospects and advances is equally important The aim of this course is to motivate printers to think about the benefits of developing an actionable plan to get their business in the black! “

The registration fee is $ 499 for APTech members and $ 699 for non-members for the entire six-week course. A 50% discount is also available for seating in multiple classes for people from the same company. Check with Julie Shaffer [email protected] about this offer.
