EFI Reggiani BOLT Textile Printer Receives InterTech Know-how Award – Protecting the Printing Inks, Coatings and Allied Industries

The EFI Reggiani BOLT ultra high speed digital textile printer with one pass from Electronics For Imaging, Inc. has received the InterTech Technology Award from the PRINTING United Alliance.

The EFI Reggiani BOLT is the first textile printer to receive an InterTech Award.

Thanks to its ultra-modern printhead concept and the powerful ink supply system for direct printing on textiles, the 1.8 meter wide EFI Reggiani BOLT delivers a maximum throughput speed of 90 meters per minute with a resolution of 600 x 600 dots per inch (dpi).

It offers high-end imaging in droplet sizes from 5 to 30 picoliters as well as premium printing with resolution of 600 x 4800 and resolution of 600 x 4800, so customers can meet all their design needs.

As a robust industrial platform solution for 24-hour operation, it offers an innovative, low-maintenance and quick-starting circulating printhead that delivers high-quality printing with superior uptime.

The EFI Reggiani BOLT allows users to reduce the cost per meter of digitally printed textiles while creating a wider range of designs quickly and efficiently. In addition, the printer can optionally include one or more analog printing stations that are built into the digital printer for special effects.

To date, three BOLT printers have been installed, one in Italy and two in Pakistan, and another installation is being completed in Pakistan.
