Raley’s continues to expand its California footprint.

The supermarket operator opened an area of ​​35,000 square meters. Business in Rancho Murieta, California which is located in Sacramento County. It’s the second location Raley’s has opened since the COVID-19 pandemic began, following a flagship that opened in the Land Park neighborhood of Sacramento in April.

In addition to fresh groceries, ready-to-take meals, a full-service delicatessen and bakery department, the Rancho Murieta store offers a beer and wine bar and a café with indoor and outdoor seating. It also has a room for meetings, family celebrations, and more. With space for 22 people and audiovisual functions, the room can be reserved by Raleys Loyalty Club members free of charge. (The common room and cafe are currently closed due to COVID-19.)

The store was built in collaboration with Murieta Marketplace Associates and offers energy efficient LED lighting throughout. Solar panels cover the entire roof of the building. It also boasts some unique features that reflect the local community, including 13 golf cart parking spaces and four unique agricultural and golf artwork by local artist Jeff Meyers.

Raley’s operates 126 stores under five banners: Raley’s, Bel Air Markets, Nob Hill Foods, Food Source and Market 5-ONE-5.
