Go Encourage achieves international sustainability ranking and extends carbon balanced printer standing – PR Information Weblog

(Leicester, UK, 6th September 2021) The Go Inspire Group is pleased to announce two important new steps in strengthening its commitment to the environment. The company has now received a silver rating from EcoVadis, the world’s largest provider of corporate sustainability ratings. With a silver rating, Go Inspire is among the top 25% of companies rated by EcoVadis. This follows the news that the group has now succeeded in extending its World Land Trust accreditation to Go Inspire Solutions.

EcoVadis’ sustainability rating evaluates how well a company has integrated the principles of sustainability and corporate social responsibility into its business and management system. This rigorous assessment measures performance using 21 indicators in four areas: the environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Go Inspire joins a global network of 75,000+ rated companies in over 160 companies and continues on its path to becoming a net zero company.

Earlier this year, Go Inspire’s Eclipse division became a Carbon Balanced Printer from the World Land Trust – the largest commercial printer in the country to receive this certification. A Carbon Balanced Printer is a printing company that has measured and balanced the annual impact of its fossil fuel consumption, vehicle emissions and electricity consumption. This accreditation has now been extended to Go Inspire Solutions, an important step forward.

The World Land Trust is an international nature conservation organization that protects, hectare by hectare, the most biologically important and threatened habitats in the world. Since its inception in 1989, the World Land Trust has funded partner organizations around the world to create reserves and protect habitats and wildlife over the long term. WLT’s patrons include leading environmentalists Sir David Attenborough, Chris Packham and Steve Backshall.

Patrick Headley, Group CEO at Go Inspire, added: “I am extremely proud that our commitment to sustainability is recognized by these two new ratings. Our teams across the company are committed to strengthening performance in this area and I am confident that we can achieve our goal of continually improving our sustainability references and being a beacon for others in the marketing industry. “
