Jerrilyn Hardaway died on January 8, 2021 at her residence in Houston, Texas.
A memorial service will be held at the Kavanaugh United Methodist Church on Saturday, January 23rd at 10 a.m.
Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is responsible for the organization.
Jerrilyn was born in Greenville on June 15, 1962, to Bobby and Gayla (Johnson) Hardaway.
She was a member of the Kavanaugh United Methodist Church in Greenville.
Jerrilyn grew up in Greenville and graduated from Greenville High School with the 1980 class. She completed her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University in College Station, where she took great pride in being an aggie.
Jerrilyn received his PhD from the University of Houston School of Law in 1992. She began her journey to the Houston bar where she practiced for over 25 years. She had experience in family and civil procedural law. She was a member of the family law departments of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association.
Jerrilyn was a devoted daughter to her parents and a generous sister and aunt. She enjoyed the adventure of traveling to China, Rome, Spain, Antarctica and doing many family trips to Galveston.
Her survivors include her brother Jim Hardaway and her wife Elena. Sisters Cindy Ragsdale and Katie Robles and husband Carlos; Nieces Lisa Baxter and husband Cody, Katelyn Hardaway and Kelsey Hardaway; Nephews, Justin Ragsdale, Cinto Robles, and James Robles; Great-nephews Kole and Kooper Ragsdale; and Uncle, John Hardaway and Mrs. Marcie and Billy Hardaway and Mrs. Karin.
Her brother Bob Hardaway and her parents and grandparents had preceded death.
