From the moment you step into Elmer’s Flag and Banner, you are in a world where customer service reigns. From optimal lighting to spacious product displays, Elmer’s has the customer in mind.

From flags to banners and kites to face masks, Elmer’s displays its goods in easy-to-navigate aisles. There is a large customer service desk in the back of the store where owner Dave Anchel and his staff are waiting for you.

“In addition to our large showroom for customers to browse, we offer flagpole installation and repair services, flag repairs, and also create custom flags and banners for customers. Our staff can help with the design. We enjoy this part of our job because It does Fun to hear what the customer imagines and then we’ll make it real for them, “said Anchel.

For nearly 60 years, Elmer’s Flag and Banner has been Portland’s premier flag store, selling American-made goods whenever possible and connecting with Portlanders as customers and as a community. They have proudly sponsored numerous middle school sports teams, contribute to local auctions and charities, advertise in college sports programs, and continually donate to local causes.

They do all of this because the customer service doesn’t stop when you walk out the door of Elmer’s Flag and Banner. Your continued satisfaction with your goods, be it Old Glory, a commercial flagpole or a colorful house banner, is important to Elmer yesterday, today and tomorrow.
