Welcome to another great day here at Universal Orlando Resort. The sun is shining and we make our way to Islands of Adventure to see Seuss Landing in honor of Dr. To attend Seuss’ birthday.
After several Dr. Seuss books have been taken off the shelves, many are concerned about the changes we might see across the country. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
Be sure to stay hydrated! This guy looks a little dry today.
Is this the start of a new Mardi Gras pearl tree on the lost continent?
Jurassic World VelociCoaster continues to test with multiple vehicles at the same time. We are sure this is a good sign that things could open up very soon! No official opening date has been announced yet, but we’ll be sure to release it as soon as we hear something.
Watching VelociCoaster reviews really increased our appetites, and we decided to stop at Thunder Falls Terrace for lunch. We usually eat at Burger Digs but we missed it! Since we’re big fans of the jackfruit sandwich at Monsters Cafe and the Jerk jackfruit from the Bahamas booth for Mardi Gras, we ordered the rice bowl with jackfruit and it didn’t disappoint. We’ll have a full review soon so be careful!
The park was very quiet this afternoon.
The cute, colorful “taxi” in the port of entry is missing, but we hope it will come back soon.
Additional props were added to the store when visiting the Universal Studio store in CityWalk. We’ve been loving the retro vibe here lately!
Over at Universal Studios Florida, Mardi Gras is in full swing and the pearls are flying.
The Wolfman banner was missing over the entrance to Universal Studios Classic Monsters Cafe, and the other two are extremely faded. Three bright new banners have now been installed above the entrance that look fantastic. This is a huge improvement for one of our favorite fast food restaurants in the park.
We decided to grab a praline cookie sandwich from the tribute store for a quick afternoon snack.
Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes recently added the card game Exploding Snap. The cards have some great artwork and it looks like a fun game.
A little more Barney goods have found their way to It’s A Wrap at the exit of the park. Get it while you can!
It’s been a busy day but that’s all for this visit to Universal Orlando Resort. Thank you for joining us today and follow us for more updates!
