Canon recently announced its seven new PIXMA G-Series Ink Tank Printers – PIXMA G3060, PIXMA G3021, PIXMA G3020, PIXMA G2060, PIXMA G2021, PIXMA G2020, and PIXMA G1020 – to improve productivity for home and small businesses. The new printers of the PIXMA G series are characterized by a high ink volume and cost-effective printing. They feature a no-drip, hands-free ink refill mechanism and a user-replaceable maintenance cartridge that ensures minimal downtime and maximum productivity for homes and businesses. The printers have an economy mode that allows consumers to print up to 7700 color pages or 7600 black pages in economy mode. The printers also come with an on-system guide to cleaning the pick-up rollers, which can help reduce service calls and improve the customer experience.

According to C Sukumaran, Director of Consumer System Products & Imaging Communication Products at Canon India, the pandemic has laid the foundation for a whole new normal that makes working from home and learning from home a must for households and SMEs makes. With the new normal, the need for infrastructure to support this hybrid work environment has increased the demand for printers for home use as well as home office setups. “Our new printers are a mix of modern technology and next-level cost efficiency that provide adequate service to end customers,” he said.

The printers are suitable for general use or photo printing, using specially pigmented black ink for crisp text in text documents and line drawings, and automatically switching to color ink color channels only when full production is required – glossy borderless photos up to A4 size .

The new printers are available at attractive prices. While the PIXMA G1020 is available for Rs 11,048, the PIXMA G3060 has a price of Rs 17,403 (including all taxes). All printers are slated to be available on leading e-commerce platforms and authorized retailers starting February 15, 2020.
