LEXINGTON, NC – A family business in Lexington is using its skills to raise money for other small businesses in the coronavirus-hit area.
For the past 27 years, Davidson County Screen Printing has produced custom designs. Adam Plyler and his father run the business. When sales stopped due to the coronavirus, Plyler got the idea to help both his company and others in the area.

“I saw the idea from a friend at a print shop in Florida, and it had a great response in his community, so we thought we’d try it out here,” Plyler said.
They decided to print and sell T-shirts that read “Here For Good” with the city skyline on them. According to Plyler, the message not only says that they are doing good things in the community, but also that companies know that they are there forever.
The company sells them online for $ 20, and half of the profits are donated to certain Lexington companies. As of Saturday, Davidson County Screen Printing raised just over $ 15,000 for businesses in Lexigton.
“We hope that all things considered it helps,” says Plyler.
